Five Years Ago Today

It was a dark and stormy night five years ago. The remnants of Hurricane Dolly were descending upon Amarillo and we were on our way to the hospital. After the storm and the water broke, we came face to face with our Sylvia for the first time.

She's a bit bigger now than she was back then.

Sissy's namesake is coming up from San Antonio to celebrate her son's birthday. They happen to be birthday buddies, too. We're a few weeks late, but good things are always worth waiting for.
